Please be advised that the Borough Council approved a draft Local Plan at a meeting of Full Council on 25 July 2013 for the purposes of consultation. 

The purpose of this report is to provide a summary of the key comments of significance made during the public consultation on the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Pre Submission Local Plan which took place between 23 August and 4 October 2013.

The 2011 - 2029 local plan has now been adopted. 

• Stratfield Turgis lies in the Pamber and Silchester Ward. More detail about the ward can be seen in the attachment.
• The Borough council is responsible for:
• Litter and refuse collection
• Planning decisions 
• Management of play areas 
• Street name plates
• The Borough Council ihas finally published its new local plan 2011-2029 adopted May 2016. See attachment.
